Got a Prevost with 24 volt system. Wanting to hook up a trailer. Any advise? Wire trailer with 24 volt bulbs or change bus running lights to 12? Any special gizmos to make it easy? anak@francomm.com |

Larry, Easiest and cheapest for a trailer is to change bulbs. But you could buy or make one of the relay boxes. Quite simple, then you would be all setup to tow a car with 12 volt system. Again, if it is always to be a trailer just change bulbs and keep it simple. Jock Fugitt |

TRY A 12 VOLT REGULATOR DRIVING 2N3055 TRANSISTORS FOR A REGULATED OUTPUT THE MORE 2N3055 THE MORE CURRENT 30 TO 50 AMPS POSSIBLE. SINCE TRAILING ANY THING DOESN'T USE HEATERS AIR OR HEADLIGHTS FEW TRANSISTORS ARE NEEDED |
