Hey Fids, Take a quick look at the page that took you to the live feed. Jack has nothing to do with the feed. It's coming from BNO and the message says it's not going to start broadcasting until Buswarrior gets down there late tonight or early tomorrow morning. And then, only when he sets it up. Where I said "Jack has nothing to do with the feed" I should have been somewhat clearer. I should have said Jack is WAY too busy to be adding this particular task to his agenda. Jack F. - Couldn't get that darn feed either. Decided to just drive up there and see the show live. And you know what? They weren't even filming... seems Bus Warrior couldn't get a simple bus from Toronto to Arcadia in under 48 hours. What's the deal... maybe tried to drive that whole 2000+ miles without chaining up? Go figure.  Seriously, though, it was great to see Jack and Paula, Tom and Fran, Dennis and the Magic Man. And especially Ed, who helped me out immensely (I may leak his reasons later, but not now). [BTW: Happy B-Day, Jack C. I'll never forget your paint-can bonfire last year. What a yuck! Sorry to see you turn over the reins, but many thanks for all you and Paula have done.] Didn't get to see all I'd hoped (Brian, are you listening?) but am super glad I went, if only for a short time. Drove up with a friend (he owns a couple S&Ss) and he was flat amazed! Said the only bus conversion he'd ever seen was mine (not the best example) and he'd no idea 'normal people' (I don't qualify, of course) owned such things... always thought they were reserved to for rock bands and movie stars. Got him thinking, I can tell you. Anyway, back in South Florida now (already nippy... already down to 65 degrees) and wishing you all a Happy New Year! Nellie PS. Sadly, the party-time is over and most of the guests have departed, including yours-truly. But I believe everyone had a good time... perhaps in different ways, but a good rally! The live feed thing was a real hoot, thank you I@n and BW and any others who occasionally pointed the camera or posted a comment on the Chat. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2011. |
