Gomer; That ad reminds me of Real Estate ads where they say" Lovely year round creek with private drive", which actually means it floods most of the year and you have to get in with a helicopter. Maybe that upper back thing is just a nice garage. It says lots of outside storage? Seems pretty outdated eh Dave |

The high cap on the rear is where they installed the AC on the NJ Transit model 20 Eagles good AC unit but ugly on the back, most of the Eagle converters remove the unit and install a regular Eagle cap but a few don't because they like the unit me I don't lol good luck (Message edited by luvrbus on January 03, 2011) |

Gomer - That's a former New Jersey Transit Eagle - they had the "weird" rear caps. OTOH, that bus also was built, IIRC, with Cor-10 steel, much, much more rust-resistant than the normal Eagles. Clifford can probably shed more light on this when he chimes in. FWIW & HTH. . .

I have always heard that NJT did very good maintenance on their buses and used NJT's are in high demand. That said, they sure knew how to make a pretty bus ugly. |

To add, weren't all or most all of their engines painted a weird color like purple or something? |
