I'm installing a 903 VTA Cummins in a 4106. It is on a cradle already, it was in another bus. Yes the engine is left hand. I was told it was a V730 Trans, but the Allison tag isn't marked, it just has the serial number which is 0510020171, the top of the case above the output shaft is stamped XX533 (don't look to be original factory stamping), on top of the case it is marked "TG10447" . Any ideas as to what it is? Or where can I find the info? Got to be an expert in the crowd. Would appreciate your help. |

Larry - You need to talk to George Lowry, over on the Yahoo GMC busnuts bbs. He's got a 4106 with the same Cummins you're installing, and knows all the "tricks" to get it working properly. HTH, RJ PD4106-2784 Fresno CA |
