In the mid 1980,s I met and talked to DAC and his Dad at one of his concerts. His Love of buses paralled mine and as I had a 4104, DAC went into great detail about himself owning both a Scienic cruiser and a 4104 both at the same time. Since then I have seen him in Leased Prevost and MCI,S.
but he always remembers the good old days with the two GM.S.
When living in Baton Rouge in the late 90.s I had the honor to meet the gentleman who put on the promotions for Bandang( I believe he is deceased now ), he taveled with with his own catering service ( steaks for 200 people at one time) brought along 20 people to help and 5 or 6 of the racing tractor 18 wheeler trucks. his motorhome,which was an Eagle one of the nicest ive seen with an 18 inch raised roof.
When he found out I had an 04 he dropped everything he was doing marched me over to his Eagle and took me on an hour tour.
I have met lots of bus nuts everywhere young and old. On a very tight budget( Like I have been ) or factory made.
Boy there are a lot of great bus nuts out there.
