My 4106 has a V730 Auto with a Stone-Bennet air shifter. Will a V731 work as a replacement and what modifications are required to installThanks, Joe 4106-2119

There is quite a wiring harness involved. It should be available from the donor bus. The Allison manual spells out the parts for the harness, ECM, and control panel. I've driven a couple and they seem fine. My research points to the possibility of changing the valve body from a V730 and install it in a V731 to make it a mechanical transmission. Don't know if anyone's tried it?
