Hmmmm, It seems to me that if you can't break up all the important information, (which by the way has been archived and is searchable), with a bit of humor and friendly bantering, the forums would be an extremely boring place to be. You can get all the information on whatever project you are working on by doing a bit of research, either in your manuals, or online with search engines such as Google. I think I would rather read Supreme Court legal opinions and raw programming language than have this or any other forum be so sterile as to not allow anyone to have a bit of humor injected into a conversation. If you want the answers, really quick.. look in the archives... every question has been asked and if possible answered. If you want someone else to do your homework for you, too bad. As I told my kids, It's YOUR Homework.. not mine. It's been a long, cold, hard, winter for many of us. We have cabin fever and need a bit of release from the everyday humdrum world of being broke and working just to live. If you have no humor in your soul, maybe you should find another hobby, like maybe pulling the wings off of live flies or maybe cutting the heads off of penguins that are buried up to their necks. The reason the archives here at BNO are good is because, up until recently, the threads stayed on topic. Searching the archives over at BCM, you have to pick through the sort of thread drift that has got going here, greatly increasing the time spent to find what you need. Maybe,in the interest of information seekers, both current and researchers in the future, we need to have threads for goofing, and threads for coaches? With a little self discipline, I'm sure we can do it! How are we going to designate a goofy thread, and how do we refer off to a goofy one from a coach related thread? Maybe we need a new thread to talk about the new threads? happy coaching! buswarrior | ||

Ladies and gentlemen, I must submit an apology for my conduct. As an extenuating circumstance, I offer this: In 8 days and a wake up my son will be going to Basic at ft. Sill. After that he's suppose to go to Ft. Leonardwood for AIT. As an MOS he (or rather his recruiter) has chosen the dreaded 88M, http://www.us-army-info.com/pages/mos/transportation/88m.html I've been dealing with a bunch of stress on this issue, mostly because he thinks he's still bullet proof, (he'll be 27 in July), but he has a baby on the way, and his wife has been having contractions for the last 4 days. For those of you who don't know about MOS's or other military stuff, He'll be a truck driver, and in today's world, he will be a 65 foot long BIG TARGET as evidenced by last summers problem at the Pakistani/Afghan border. The original trucks that were destroyed were military and contract fuel haulers. A truck driver doesn't have a chance. An incoming Mortar or rocket attack is not something you are able to defend from in the cab of a truck. A target is a target is a target. {{{{POOF}}} Again, I apologize about some of my bad attitude lately. | ||
