While sitting behind a bus in traffic today I had a good look at the exposed trailer hookup. It is a pintle hitch with air glad hands on a swivel that fold into a recess in the bumper. Under the bumper on what looks like an extension to the engine rails are two eye bolts for the safety chains. These eye bolts look to be about 1". While sitting beside the bus I noticed tire pressure labels above each tire. Both tag and drive tires were marked 100 PSI. Steering axle tires were marked 120 PSI. I am just throwing this into all the discussion on trailers and tire pressures without comment |
