I HAVE A 8V92TT THE TWO HOSES THAT COME OUT OF THE AIR BOX DRIP ABOUT TWO LARDE DROPS OF OIL ON THE GARGE FLOOR I DONT KNOW IF IT DOES THIS GOING DOWN THE ROAD. iS THIS NORMAL OR NOT?

Most of us have a collection system of some kind to catch the drops of oil. I used an old fire extinguisher to put the two tubes into with a drain cock at one end. You also need a vent to let the air out at the top so you don't build up a pressure in the container. Hope this helps you. Bill

To answer your question, yes it is normal to have a little oil drippage from the airbox on a Detroit. That is why they have the drain tubes and they must be kept open. The fact is that engine can get to where it slobbers quite a little oil out the drains without any real problem. The hitch is the mess they make.
