One more trip for the Fall and the old girl goes up on blocks for new kingpins, shocks and, hopefully, power steering. I looked under a "cab-over" Bluebird Diesel school bus the other day and low and behold it had a pitman/idler arm type (power) steering box very similar to the Silversides. It attaches to the left wheel steering knuckle (spindle) so steering wheel rotation will be the same. Does anyone know where (preferably in the Midwest) there is a school bus (Bluebird) graveyard for parts? This could be one of those great moments in sports, I mean, buses!!! Rdub |

Rdub Do you know if the 04 has the same steering set up and the same set up for king pins and bushings as your silersides? If so I would be very intersted to know how you tackle it as I have to do mine this winter also. Thanks John |

There are TWO busses at the location I am talking about. I can send you pics of the underside of my bus if you like. Gary |
