i will be buying a 20 ft awning soon, wondering if anyone has installed one them selves on older mci.mine is an mci-3.lookes like mci-5.

Hi Tony

Did my own 23' on my mc7. Just hung the C channel on the drip rail, piece of cake, and put the bottom brackets just above the horizontal trip strip above the baggage doors. Not sure what type of framework you have there on a 3, but make sure this bracket is mounted on a frame member not just the skin. Found a great deal on-line for the awning and built the arms myself per their specs. Whole thing cost about $150.
Don't know if they still have any awnings left.
