MCI-9.
What grade of oil should be used to fill the cooling fan drive gear box?
The book says 30w engine oil. Seems light to me?

went to check! my book calls for a multi purpose gear lube and i dont think motor oil fits that definition. however my manual trans calls for the same oil my 8/71 uses
