Well first let me tell you a little about myself,I'm 48 years old and I'm a traveling C.T. Tech. I work for a company that sends me to various hospitals to fill in for vacationing techs or to work until the hospital hires someone fulltime. My company usually provides me with housing whereever I must go. About a year ago I realized that if I provided my own housing they would simply pay me the housing money instead of a realtor. NEAT huh. Anyway I fell in love with Bus Conversions and decided I had to have one. I'm determined to do things my way soooo instead of buying a finished unit I bought a beautiful(to me) 1968 Eagle 05 so far i have removed the center three windows and covered them over with alum. I took the seats out and the bathroom (yuch)I put house furnishings in and made it comfortable no plumbing yet but most parks have showers and toilet facilities soooo. I dont have a place to work on my bus except where ever I happen to be working at the time so progress is slow but I'm determined. I have added an airconditioner it was really hot in there. and I just put a crank up TV antenna on . my first driving experience was driving from Birmingham, Al. to Roseburg, Or. a total of 3200 miles with only minor mech problems ( dirty fuel filters in Wyoming and a leaking rear axel seal Halfway. I am currently in Arizona working on the Hopi Indian Reservation another 2000 plus miles. Sorry for the length of this post but I have been lurking here for about a year and finally was convinced to share my tale with the members. |

Bob, How's the project coming. Looked over at your hanger during the Airport Open House but didn't see you around. Have you heard from Herb Fisher recently? Steve MC-9 Pontiac |

That's not my post, I did not post the last Bob Wood message. Who is the imposter. I hate people that do this! Hi Steve, I'm doing really well. Taking the Eagle to Elkhart this weekend. Looking for day/night shades. My bedroom is completed, and starting to work on the bathroom. The front entertainment area is complete. We enjoyed going to Michigan Adventure in Muskegon this summer. How are you. I drove by your home last weekend, saw your MC9 in the driveway and almost stopped. Bob. |

Who is the other Bob Wood? I suppose there could be another person in the world with the same name. It is a great name after all. Bob. |

You guys want to have fun, type in "Bob Wood" on a Google search and see how many hits you get. Then type in your own name and find all the imposters out there! |

Hello Everyone, I am a newbie also. Have wanted a bus conversion for years. Just bought my first one, a 1968 Eagle 01. Drove it from Ohio to Burbank CA. Experienced no problems other than getting used to it. Would like to meet other Eagle owners, prefer in Southern California. Thanks Paul |

Welcome aboard, AND you got one of the nicer Eagles, and a FAR smaller turning radius than most all other buses. That forward placed driver axle is a sweetheart. |
