Just saw Moonraker, where Bond (Stunt Driver) does a one-eighty in one of these on wet pavement.

Pretty Impressive.

My Wife's Grand-Dad drove one of these in Eugene, OR for publicity gigs.

What a rolling roadblock.

Apparently you can lean one of those early Double Deckers to about 35 degrees from the ground and it will come back up onto all its wheels. Very low center of gravity.

And here is a pic to prove it........

Notice the safety straps are still loose, the bus is at around 34 degrees and the "ground" it's standing on is at around 28 degrees.

Didn't have many fall over.
