For those of us geographically-challanged busnuts who won't be able to get to Florida (or even if you can!), how about a convention in Oregon?!!
A good one; a BIG one, is now official. Here's the link: http://www.busnusa.com/
As you can see, it' still aformin', but it's being sponsored by some good folks. Folks that are busnuts themselves, have strongly supported our little hobby over the years and are highly respected (and frequently recommended) by other busnuts.
So mark the dates, bookmark the page, and check back periodically for new developments. I know that the Northwest Busnuts (of which I am a proud member!) have made this on of its events. I'm pretty sure the Eagles club will be there. And that's just the beginning! This will be a good one, folks!!
I was driving to work this morning and heard a piece on the redwoods. I'm thinking that the family and I will combine this convention with a little jaunt to see those trees and the coast of southern Oregon.
I love the Oregon coast, but usually don't get much south of Florence before heading back north. This year may be different. I'm told that the Brandon and Gold Beach areas are not to be missed.
Any way, give strong consideration to this event. "Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise" I'll be there. Hope to have the pleasure of meeting some of you good folks in person that I don't already know. And of course, I'll be very glad to see those of you that I do, again!
