Is so much older today, his pets tried to bury him.
He told them he wasn't dead, but one of the streamlined canines told this reporter: You know how those bus guys lie!

I warned him not to wake up this morning....
I even hit him with a hammer in the middle of the night to help him out (cold)....
all to no avail...
However I have to say that his is the first birthday I have ever seen celebrated by having a Plumber come out to ream the pipes...
to each his own I guess!

Happy Birthday Fooey!
Maybe Nellie will make an appearance & sing you a little ditty..!

Dal...

On a whim I made an attempt to re-connect with Joe Barron (joe4104),
he hasn't been seen here in more than 5 years..
I gave him an invite back.
As kids, both of our Parents had Busses & at "Bus Meets" around the country
we'd see each other and chase the same girls...
one from Texas that gave him a Horned Toad comes to mind.

Second generation BusNuts & in their retirement years to boot..!

Yeah, my FiL had a Skoolie years ago. Poor guy, the wife made him sell it before it was past the seat uninstall stage.
He looks at ours all the time and knows he's too old to even start.
I cry inside when I think of that.

Now in my forties I even stuck with a Flx like my parents as the VL was always my favorite (they also owned a Brill with a big halscott gas engine)

She's a fine looking classic Tim..!
Rarely does a later Flx cause my eye to linger
but your did!

It was nice of you to change clothes for the 2nd shot...
....just sayin.......

I loved Brills design ....so unique

Did you live on peanut butter sandwiches when Dad needed to make road time...?
It's nice to meet another 2nd Gen bus kid.
We have a whole 'nother perspective on the Bussin thing,
a better one I think & one that money can't buy either.

Hey Tim, are you sharp enough to play the "secret message" game...
if you are you have to keep quiet about it and not use it yourself until after April Fools Day...Ok Bud..?

George,

Sorry I missed your birthday. I hope all is well, and you enjoyed a tasty dinner of stuffed bird with veiner-schnitzel.

Thank you Doug. I did have a very nice Dinner. it turns out that my host is not only a very talented writer but an accomplished chef as well. I am keeping a close eye on my dachshunds so that they don't become veiner-schnitzel. Dallas I would welcome any size dittys it has been a while.

Hey, Dal... How's that genny? Did you get her fired up and working? Just curious. I'm glad it went to someone on the boards. :-)

And Jorge... You haven't said anything to me lately... What gives?! :-(

Mac, I haven't had a chance to work on it yet. We've been too busy getting the place ready for the rally and cleaning up after the ravages of winter.

It looks like it shouldn't be too much of a problem to get running though.

Kevin...
the reason Fooey has been silent is
I keep a rag stuffed in his yap
& his hands duct taped behind him
for the 1st 6 weeks of Camp...
you'll have to allow him some time after the 6 weeks
to re-familiarize himself with speech & joint movement.

In the mean time
(and I do mean MEAN)
I am "Ghosting" his utterances, or mumbling meanderings as the case may be.

It amazes me Jack and FooH that people actually complain about the antics going on here - When you consider most people would pay over $100 to see you "live" of an evening - We get you for "free" 24/7 - I@n should patent the humor and dispense it sporadically - FWIW
