The head dude is deep into elder care.

He is working through e-mails as he is able, but the magazine has gone out, albeit a little late.

He posted over at BCM as to the details.

Keep e-mailing, he'll straighten things out for you!

happy coaching!

Thanks. I forgot that you can download it online from their site. I always received it in email fashion so didn't think of the other option.

Larry,

Ouch. I've heard some bad things about the previous owner, but nothing bad about the current owners. Just curious, to what do you attribute this opinion?

As to what is presently going on at BCM, here is an email I received a couple days ago from Mike Sullivan. Mike is the one that actually has the magazine printed and mailed as well as answering most emails & phone calls. Jack

I got to bring Mom home from the hospital and she is resting in apparent comfort (courtesy of Morphine). But she has been unconscious and it has been three days since she has been able to eat or drink anything. Her breathing is steady and comfortable (courtesy of Oxygen & the Morphine) but her heart rate is rapid, weak and irregular.
It is with intense sadness that I recognize that the hospital was probably right, her time is growing very short. My mind is numb, I can’t think about anything but this, sleep evades me and sadness breaks me down almost hourly through the day and night. I pray almost constantly that God will grant a miracle, yet I also know that He has appointed a time for everyone and if this is His will then I bow to it, albeit with the most intense sadness and grief I have ever felt in my life.
The hospice care people have been tremendous. A night and day difference from the hospital. I thank God for their dedication, diligent efforts, caring and understanding.

Mike

Jack
Thanks for the post. If I had known about the circumstances surrounding Mike I certainly wouldn't have posted. I don't go onto the BC board very much so until BW posted and I went to the BC page I wasn't aware you could download the issues from there. I am up to date now with the issues. My heart goes out to Mike and cannot imagine what he is going through.

Jack; I can relate as others can to the situation at hand. My condolences are sent out to the family. My mother was also in Hospice supposedly for just a few days and I left Fl and was gone 3 weeks and stayed with my mom other than going with sisters just to grap a bit of fresh air and food. It is not at any means relaxing. My mom passed away with me holding her hand and singing a favorite song. The consulation is knowing that my mom was a borned again christian and not just a church goer. I will see her along with others who have made the journey. Just make sure of your SALVATION and your DEstiny sure!! May God Bless and I will keep them in my prayers.

Let's be fair...

If someone was fed up with the old magazine owners, and left, how would they know there has been a management change, how would they know that some BUSNUTS are now running the cottage industry hobby magazine for bus conversions?

I was one that had no use for the old magazine, as far as delivery went. It couldn't find its way out of a wet paper bag, never mind north of the border, few of my issues even arrived, so my subscription was a donation and I did not renew way back when...

However, I kept my hand in on the BBS, and learned of the ownership change and gave 'em a chance with a new subscription.

I am VERY pleased with the new magazine distribution. I gave them a year, and have renewed, and plan to continue. I pay dearly, north of the border, but I get my magazine right quick, pretty much before all of you south of the border, so that's ok.

Larry, you might want to check out who is running the place now, things HAVE changed.

happy coaching!
