A new set of dishes and tableware to match the interior colors my wife has chosen for the 'new' conversion. Now really, I consider the dishes a gift to her, since fine, paper china is fine with me (even a paper towel if nothing else is available). I did get 'promise' to pay for the CB antenna system of my choice (couldn't talk her into throwing in a 1000 watt linear!) I much prefer to buy my own presents, whenever I happen to want them. Seems like my name always shows up on the naughty list when 'ole Nick checks the list a 2nd time! |

Well, I got something interesting from my munchkins: They bought me custom shelving, so that I can display some of my model bus collection (I've got about 100 or so) on the wall in my home office.

We don't do the gift thing as we treat each other and ourselves as the year goes on with things we need.
Soooooo, yesterday I treated myself to a new set of chromed brass train horns off E**y. I love that sound and they should be legal as they are not the huge actual train horns that I have seen about.
Whether I put them on the cab roof or behind the hood, depends upon what I end up doing to the front of the box and whether I extend it over the cab or not.

We're like Peter as Susan and I seem to have Christmas all year long as long as we are together, but we did choose this year to splurge for a new/used Prevost H3 conversion shell that we hope to take delivery sometime middle of January!
