Will a Starter from a DD-671 work on aDD-8V71? one is on a 1959, 4104 and thr other is on a 1964, Eagle 1

No, the starter off the 4104 will be left-hand (CCW rotation), the Eagle needs a right-hand rotation (CW) starter.
