to me this looks like a poor use of a dog nose school bus by mating it to a S&S http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/rvs/2296712490.html (Message edited by happycamperbrat on March 31, 2011) |

On second thought, after a good nights sleep and a cup of coffee, I think you are right David! The windshield says truck.... It still looks like a 5th wheel put on top though...... Thanks for your comment Don, it is an intersting conversion for sure... wish he would have included more photos, just for curiosity sake Re: the article It was fun to do the interview! I liked the way it came out! Thank you! |

I just wanted to know where the article was - so that I can see it - Teresa has a RTS she is converting and I'm just trying to help with some ideas - I've been there - done that - bought the t_shirt and want to help other from failing down the same holes that I fell thru - just trying to give back a little - make it easier for others That's all |

haha!! For anyone who missed it, it was titled Little GTO. It was in the Jan. 2011 edition of BCM Mag. The article was a very technical article on how to take a 3000 mile trip in a stripped bus with 5 able bodied people, 2 handicapped people and 2 dogs! It describes the fine art of rolling down the highway in a recliner that isnt bolted to the floor, mats and sleeping bags doubled as beds or extra seating, coleman propane stoves at campgrounds/rest stops/just about anywhere... and a bunch of other crazy stuff werein my companions and I had a blast!! Do NOT try this at home!!! Pete, bless your heart! You have always been a TREMENDOUS help, and have never let me down! For anyone who doesnt know, he even called me on this trip mentioned above when I was 1000s of miles from home and having electrical problems.... he went searching thru his library of information and contacts and found my brother's phone number and called out of the blue to help us diagnose and correct the problem so I could get home!! And Van, I will have my agent contact you with a photocopied autograph...... yawn! |
