Was wondering, can our bus nut email address be changed? If so what is the procedure?
Thanks...

Sure thing, Ace. You'll lose the old one and everyone who knows it, but if you can live with that, just let me know what name@busnut.com you'd like to have.

Can't have bossnut@ LOL!!!

Due to a sudden overwhelming amount of spam I have no other choice. There is only a handful of people that actually used that email so no biggie changing it.
Going to try
foolsgold@busnut.com

Thanks I@n

Ace, done! Password 123456 which you should change first time in. Thanks! Ian.

Ace,
Was most of the spam from people wanting to give you large amounts of money? Seems lately Paula & I have been getting several of these every day. I thought it was just us. Most seem to come from att.net addresses. We just "Block Sender" and move on. Jack

Money, enhancements, (which I DON'T need) and loans not to mention all the UK emails lately. It got old quick. People keep sending me jokes etc that have multiple addresses attached is what is causing it, i'm sure.
I STILL want instructions on how to change the password.

Found in the archive, Aug 10, 2010

first, log in using the username and password I assigned to you. Log out using the link on the left side of the menu. Log back in again using the "Webmail" screen by clicking on "click here to log in again" link. The resulting screen will allow you to change your password by clicking on the appropriate icon. (From that screen, you can also visit optional email delivery clients, but I would strongly suggest that you use only the "Horde" email client. While the other two are ok, Horde is the one I have chosen to use here at BNO and the only one I will support). Thanks! Ian.

By the way, Ace, and all, I have a spam detector on my mail server (which delivers your email and mine, too) called "Spam Assassin" (http://spamassassin.apache.org/). I can't use it because I don't want to miss any email at all.

I could activate it, and that would solve your problems to a great degree, but it would choke some of my email, so guess what? Right!

But, you CAN subscribe to a third party spam filter like Postini (http://www.google.com/postini/) to do the same thing as my Spam Assassin does. And you can put several email accounts through it.

Hope this can help you through the spam. Don't worry, I feel your pain. I've been putting up with it for many years and have just gotten used to spending the first 5 minutes of my day clicking the Delete button.

Thanks for all the help...everyone, except you niles! ;)
BTW, can you please pay your 3 yr old tab i've run up over here at your favorite resturant? It's getting out of hand not to mention embarrassing when I mention your name as to the one that is paying the bill. The people just bust out laughing!

Isn't this the type of personal communication that does not relate to the topic or Busses that 6 people raked my ass across the coals for?
Better watch it!
Daytona Pete & his Jihadi fan club will start bombing your mailboxes
with profanity laden threats & other demonstrations
that lack the self control of an adult mind
like they have done to me....

Just saying CYOA or pay the price.
