Well, after years of saving up and months of searching around, I have finally taken the plunge and bought this beautiful 1996 MCI Renaissance 102EL3!

I know... I know... I must be nuts, right???

Ahhh, bus ownership... gotta love it!!

Hey, wait a minute... This colour is disgusting!! And ... what am I doing with an MCI??? Oh no... what have I done???

I love the mag wheels are they the new 36" rim with the rubber band tires?

Peter.

Naw, the mags are only about 3/8 inch. And "rubber" is not exactly the right word, either!

Ian, what you meant to say was "it's an MCI... of course!" Isn't that so? (grin)

I@n, excellent taste in your choice of motorcoach. But I agree, we need to talk about your color-blindedness. Now all it needs are some carbunkles on the roof and a toad that will go places the 45 footer won't!

Looks like that right rear air bag is leaking off. Rear steer?

John,

I think it was the 28mm lens that captured the photo. I'll let you know when I get it in the mail... er... uhh... I mean... when I drive it home!

Ian: This bus is going to be a real headache. I see nothing but overheating and loss of power. You really do need to open up all those louvres on the back, especially that air intake. I can't believe that you would have even considered anything but a Prevo.

Ian, a little while back, in a post entitled INTERIOR SPACE, RJ Long asked coach owners to...

"...run a tape straight down the center of the coach, if you would please measure (in inches) the distance from the base of the dashboard in the vestibule area to the base of the first engine "hump" in the rear of the coach"

So c'mon, run a tape measure down the middle of that sky blue behemoth of yours!

She's home, so she is!!!

It's a lot prettier than the photos, that's for sure!

... John, the rear steer tracks beautifully!

... James, I know - I'm a compulsive buyer, though!!

... and, Brian, the measurement down the middle is exactly 5 7/8".

Looks like she's riding a little low, though. Won't she hold air? I know the owner does! :) :) :) :) :)

You would have been better off with a Prevost, I'm sure! :)

Chuck - it's laying rubber in the pic :-)

Ace, I can't believe you are one of the chosen few now!!! I have seen the pix of your beautiful golden Prevost (along with the Hooter's race pix, bless you, thank you!) and all I can say is I hope you bought the lovely Susan a nice black dress to go along with your tuxedo!!! What a great looking coach.

Nah I@N don't be confooseld by my comments! I'm still the same ole' butt head everyone loves to hate! :) No Tux here bud... but that black dress might look kind of good now that I think about it!

Thanks for the words on our "Fools Gold" coach! We're chompin at the bit until we get it home especially since it's all done and waiting for our arrival! That should be on or around the 24th of Jan. Work to pay for it and sickness between the both of us (me first, and now Susan) has held off our picking it up!

Soon though... very soon, and counting the days! :)
