Those who use 55 gal drums are proud of their thriftiness. Those who don't poo-poo the concept b/c the use of space is not as efficient. How 'bout this concept to stir things up again? Bay 3... - Grey/black in two 55gal drums, end to end. - Notched railroad tie saddles Now here's the fun part - two of these, laid/anchored/wedged in front of and behind the two black drums: Viola, you got 100 gals fresh. They're each about 1x2x5'. And they're MARINE! Will FF bless it? How 'bout you? Watcha think? http://www.marisafe.com/store/viewItemSpecs.asp?ID=453010057&CID=45301000&FLT=453010023 |

Regular Price $110.95/ea Member Price $98.95/ea I looked at these sometime back but decided that they might be more prone to damage, and cost the same as a ridged tank does. John 4104, 4106 |

Found some plastic drums like the ones mentioned awhile back which were tested by rolling off the house roof. Here's what I was thunking - not to scale, quick & dirty drawing: BTW, the Plastimo's are much cheaper on e***. |

To prevent wood or metal from rubbing or scuffing plastic use kitchen cutting boards. They have large ones at Lowes an HD,an cut an heat to form fit you can counter sink screws or bolts. |
