Bill,

Just a thought, you do have a MC-9 cap for a MC-9 and not an MC-9 style cap for an MC-8?

R&M make both and the MC-8 is more rounded than an MC-9.

Peter.

Peter, following that train of thought, if Bill had an MC-9 style cap for an MC-8, the CAP would be too curved, in this case the cap is almost square while the roof is curved! Meaning Bill's front cap is for an MC-9 but his coach is an MC-8! (grin)

Bill, all jokes aside, if you are noticing this difference prior to installing the cap, could it be that the fiberglass cap is sagging a bit in the middle?

If the difference in curvature is not TOO great, you may have to, as gently as possible, persuade the cap into place.

Though, the FIRST thing to do would be to call R&M and explain to them your problem.

I called r&m and they said they do not use the trim piece
there is about a 3/4 inch gap on each side when pulled tight to the front of the coach
