I'm curious if it's just me or have some of you had trouble "communicating" with parts suppliers.
I have tried to purchase from three different "Bus Service" places and when I call I get a receptionist whose primary job is to tell you the person you asked for is not there and/or to ad-lib an excuse then promise you'll get a return call...soon. "Soon" must be Bus Service code for "not necessarily in your lifetime...".
Right now I could really use brake and bearing replacement parts for my PD3751. They are commonly available if I can only find someone to talk to me!! If you have any suggestions or recommendations, fire away. Thanx, Rdub

As far as the bearing go you don't need a "Bus" supply company to get them. Take the numbers down and go to your local bearing house, automotive jobber or truck supply company. The shoes, lining, seals and brake parts will be available at a truck parts supplier. I would think you will also pay less.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who has this trouble. Also glad to hear I'm not the only one trying to work on my coach in the winter. I was begining to think everyone pretty much did inside stuff in the winter.

Thats exactly what I am doing up here North of Chicago, INSIDE STUFF, and everything I can in the warmth of the house as well as any ordering I can afford for this Spring. I dont like the cold, This is from one who used to Snowmobile in -10F temps, So this spring will be the start of a big Sprint to try to get this thing done.

As far as manufacturers, depends on what you need. So far the mechanic who does the drive stuff has no problem for parts. We'll see this Summer, when I have other work done.
