The guys just left after installing my newly cleaned and polished glass on the entry door and drivers side.
Actually, my glass was fogged up and etched so bad that one piece from each side had to be replaced with new glass. New seals and desiccant and they were good as new.
There is no argon or gas of any kind in between the panes. The desiccant i'd there the remove the moisture if present.
The whole process of coming to my house, removing both windows, cleaning old glue, taking back to the shop, separating the glass, attempt to clean and polish, go to Ocala to pick up new glass that was needed, glue together and seal new pieces, come back to my house to install and do a final cleaning all came to $475.00

Not a bad deal considering Prevost wanted $375.00 just for the drivers window AGAIN in less than 3 years since replacing it once already.

So, it feels good being able to see finally!

Yea Prevost told me they MIGHT make it good IF I bought another drivers glass and had THEM install it. There is nothing tuo installing it. That had nothing to do with its failure. According to the guy today, it was fabricated totally wrong along with gaps at the bottom of the glass in the seal itself. The metal part of the seal!
They gaurantee the cleaning and re-sealing for two years from today for ANY failures but he said the way they are sealed now, I should have no problems for a very long time!

You have to be beneficient to the poor folks in Nova Scotia that make these windows, after all their fishing industry has pretty well collapsed, so they need to have some income from some of the monied folk from Florida. eh?

The commercials consider windshields like tires , replaceable items .

Lots of coaches I have visited would be candidates , tho some simply give up night driving , to save a buck.

Yea must be because the guy said they used a desicant that is now considered obsolete and no wonder the seal lasted the short time it did.
FF, it was hard enough driving at night but worse during the day. Looking at the mirrors, it got to the point that I couldnt on the drivers side without peering thru water. The entry door glass was fogged over so bad it looked someone painted it grey.
Lots better now!

It is so hard to find quality in anything anymore, you feel that for the price something must be from the top shelf but often the reality is mearly markup and profit,, I've got a 1978 revcon that I've had since the early 80's that came with what must have been an early variety of thermopane windows, I know the edges are polished glass and there is a 1/8 inch gap between the panes, the polished edges indicates a thermopane rather than a double pane which would have the metal band, never a problem or hint of moisture or fogging, with the technology that is available today you would expect far more because of the advanced engineering that should be available today but often it can be disappointing, I'm glad they were able to take care of the problem to your satisfaction, I've seen your bus and have been in it and it's one of the finest buses I've seem, with pride of ownership sometimes comes frustration tho.

Uhh, not exactly! If anything, the price just went up!
Let me tell you why...

Were down south with about 11 other bysnuts and it is hot hot hot. Our friends and your new rally host Bill and Brenda Phelan just surprised Susan with a full set of their.bb vwry well custom on-site made window covers! After about 30 minutes, Susan said she had to go outside because it got too cold in. I will say, it is rather cool compared to what it was.
The greatest gift ever well, besides the ladder I got. LoL
I would recommend the covers if your looking for privacy and to keep the heat out!

Ace,
I know what you mean. We have the screens from Bill & Brenda on our coach, sitting up here in NC. Temps are supposed to hit mid 90s next week. Sure glad we got those screens. Jack
