Wasn't sure you were receiving my e-mails so here is a reminder!

The ad is STILL not showing up on the site and I'M starting to get a little "heat" from the seller! Since I know him personally and you don't, he's not one I would want mad at me! :)
Infact he's kind of scary! Not really but he has been calling me regulary. Did you get all the painting done? When your done and you want some R&R come on down to Florida and paint some for me!

Oh one thing he DID say was if the ad didn't appear soon, he would just consider YOU the new owner and would expect a cashier's check in the mail real soon!! :) Hey you could even pick it up when you come down for your R&R!

Ahhh,

Don't'cha just LOVE dealing with the agent!

Ace, Ace, Ace... have you forgotten the chant your anger management coach taught you? "I-now-own-a-Prevost, I-now-own-a-Prevost, I-now-own-a-Prevost". Come on, Ace, repeat after me... "I-now-own-a-Prevost, I-now-own-a-Prevost, I-now-own-a-Prevost".

Come to Florida? Nawww!! You and Butch can come up here to Canada so I can buy you both a REAL Bud instead of the 4% horse piss you rednecks try to pass off as beer :-)

Your buddy's ad is up, whiner. And it's a beautiful ad for an even more beautiful 4104... at a great price, too! (Nice plug, eh?)

Now, repeat after me... "I-now-own-a-Prevost, I-now-own-a-Prevost, I-now-own-a-Prevost".

:-)

PS. Now, before my email box becomes over-run with nasty notes from all my American friends defending America, rednecks and Old Glory, please remember that I love you guys down there, more than half my business revenue comes from the U.S. so I wouldn't bite the hand that feeds me and Ace and I called a truce a long time ago and have since found out that we'd probably be quite good friends, after all!

That said, our beer's still better than yours :-)

I must agree with Ian, when I traveled thru Canada, Went into it via Chicago area and came out at the Niagra Falls I was able to stop at a pub (wife was washing clothes) and the people were friendly and the draft was excellent. That was in the 70's with a brand new camper and and old dingbat for a wife. Have new wife now (for 23 years) and now have bus which I pray I will live to see finished and can take some trips in. The wife says the first trip will be to Calif, then up the coast into Canada. So watch out Ian someday we will be in your area and look you up for that beer hehehe. Randall and family

Ian where do you get your US-Cdn exchange rates in the buses for sale section. Today it should be 1.3405 but it is running much higher.

(Editor's Note: I know you're asking a rhetorical question, Ray, but it's impossible to keep up with the current rate, especially as volatile as it is just now. I have disclaimers all over BNO stating that Cdn exchange rates are guidelines only. With several hundred prices listed all over BNO, not just in the Buses for Sale section, it takes me a couple of days to make changes to them all.)

Is that enough? Man if it weren't for being tied up to the tree by Burch until the ad appeared, Now I have to recite this stupid saying! What's next?

And what's so special about a Prevost anyway? Yea I have one but BIG DEAL! I'm sure to be bald before I even get the conversion started with trying to figure out the electrical problems!

Thanks also!
Ace

PS Your beer might be a bit stronger but our woman are... uh...stronger too! Whew, I almost talked myself into a BIG dispute with that one! :)

I own an eagle, don't need a Prevost.

I own an eagle, don't need a Prevost.

However, I saw a pretty Prevost in the WalMart parking lot in Pleasanton TX the other day. Had Oregon plates with a motorcycle on a platform at the trailer hitch receiver. The platform had a trailer ball on it with a tow car behind.

Tried 3 times to visit, but the coach was always dark. The 4th time they were gone.

Anyone know who they were? The paint accents were blue, and they had a pop up satellite dish and a round anntenna (I guess over the road tv) on top.

My experiences of Prevost owners has not been pleasant so far.

I tried to talk to one at a Flying J and he ignored me, another hadn't a clue about the coach, he just drove it. Few seem to be home converted. When I went to an FMCA rally, the Prevosts came in en-mass, the professional conversions all parked in one place and the home conversions parked a little ways away. Did I detect a certain amount of snobbery there?

Peter.

I own a Prevost, but only because the bay storage was large. Great bus, very fun to drive! Now if I could only get my lazy self down there to work on it, it might get done one year.

I love Canada and Canadians, very nice friendly people, even in the large cities.

Irish beer is even better! German beer is the best!

You guys are funny! Prevosts-Vanhools. Yuk. When I had my Vanhools I made up bumper stickers for them that said, "When I grow up, I want to be a Setra". Vanhool hated it!
Eagles are a forgiving coach, Prevosts are, well...let me not rub it in huh Ace?

Ace? Setras are a very cool coach. I wish I had the $$$$$$$ to convert one. I owned 16 of them with 8V92s & Series 60 motors. Setras are like men steadfast, treat them right, maintain them, and they'll run forever. People say Setras are to expensive to operate, but I don't believe it. Any coach not taken care of properly can be expensive. Anyway...

I have never cared for Vanhools, but owners swear by them. I think the Setra 417 is a sleek coach. They modified the radiator to the rear drivers side which makes it so much better to pull and work on. I like the A/C bolted to the engine. There was so much vibration before when they had them mounted on the frame. Wonder was glass will cost though. lol especially the driver's window. Cool compartment for beverages.
Gotta love the series 60. Looks like the altinator belts are easier to work with. If we lost an A/C belt on the older coach, it would take them all out. Looks like they might have solved that problem. Do you like the battery compartment? I'd like a 417 as a conversion. Woo Hoo!! Do you own Setras?
