I think it is safe to say that all of us send our deepest condolences to the family and our most heart felt thanks to all the military personnel.

I'm posting in hopes that it is the correct one...

Les always expresses my sentiments
far more eloquently than I able to myself...

I can only add that I know part of what they are feeling
thru repeated experience....

just like all of the rest of us.

We keep doing the benefits but the hurt ones keep coming home, some in chairs, some in boxes, it doesn't seem to help to know that there is a reason for it all, sometimes the heroic reasons just don't matter when you see the terrible pain in a mothers eyes as she watches her baby lowered into the ground, are we "liberating" these countries for their future, or for ours, sometimes I just don't know, at one time war was a little more clearly defined, you could see who you were to shoot at, now a child can walk past you and pull a pin, years ago in another life I watched as my partner popped a cap on a child of about 7 that had a lump under his arm hidden under his overshirt, as the back of the childs head lifted off and the grenade exploded, I was changed forever, to know that somebody had put that there and sent the child out to get the chocolate bar that we always carried for them left a hurt that lives deep within a persons soul and never leaves, it seems to pop up now and then as you watch your grandchildren play and people wonder why grampa won't talk about what he did in the war. Many of you know exactly what I'm talking about and many know but won't admit it. And it continues and we keep burying our young men and women, but for what, will we change a country that has known nothing but 2000 years of tribal warfare? or will we garentee that the oil will keep flowing to the west. Sometimes I lay in bed and remember and wonder.

Jack,Cody I also had a dad that wouldn't talk about the war and after seeing some of the things, I too feel the same way. My hat is off for ALL our military personal who fight for our freedom and my heart is broken for the families that have lost a loved one. If the people could only realize what a blest country we live in. they would also be ready to give the ultimate sacrifice. GOD will only bless america when we REPENT,start worshiping HIM and turn from what we are doing. My 2 cents$$

As the years have passed on thru time some of us have been in the Brotherhood for fighting for better quality of life for others. When one of the Brothers or Sisters have falling my thoughts have a special place for them that will live on for as long as I live.
