Ian as you have a great board hereyou might like to add a section of ideas and things that worked for different people that others do not know of or how to do.. it could be the do it did it section, just short tips not ask and answer as in the main boabd..mel 4104 | ||

Hi Mel, With the wealth of information on this board and the ease of navigation, I don't know how any one could expect improvement in the area you mentioned. The format here on this board ( in my opinion), is second to none! Ed has hit the nail on the head. All you have to do is use the "Keyword Search" and you will have your answer. There is allways room for improvement and when the time is right, I'm sure that I@n will be the first to pick up on it. (My thoughts) Cheers, Emery | ||

I've been thinking exactly the same thing. A FAQ for busbuilding. The challenge would be to have a 'cannonically blessed' or 'correct' way to do just about anything. With all the opinions here I don't think you'd ever get a concensus on anything!  | ||

Seems like this section is for that purpose; ask a question and get a lot of advise, opinions and how to advise. Anyone who as set up a web site, can tell you how much work it takes to set up these sections, links, monitor and maintain. For something that doesn't cost us to use, I personally would not expect much more. Not that it hurts to ask, or of course give our opinion. | ||

Mel 4104, when you "launch" this bulletin board system, are you seeing the split screen frames or are you only getting the "Messages" side (right frame)? Usually when a question such as yours is asked, that is the situation. Because some viewers can't see the left frame, they are missing out on many of the best features of this bbs, including the "Keyword Search". Ian www.busnut.com |
