For the life of me, I can't understand why only 5 Busnuts have taken advantage of the BNO COMMUNITY NEWS board. Doesn't anyone want other Busnuts to know where you live, what kind of a coach you have, or have you invite others to stop in to say hello ???? Just post a short bio if thats all you want, but I know for a fact how hard I@n worked to get this thing up and running for us all. If you don't know how to get to it, just scroll down the left side of this board, and under BNO BBS click on BNO COMMUNITY NEWS. Let's show our appreciation to I@n and your fellow Busnuts by posting some info there. Thanks!!! |

Hey Norm, all I have on the left side of my screen is a list of lots of Favorites. Richard Editor's Note: Richard, that favorites list is created by your browser. You can close that list by clicking on the "x" at the top right corner of the box. Next, go to BNO's home page, clear your cookies, then click on the BNO BBS button in the Interactive Menu. That will bring up the proper frames. At some point, you have right-clicked on the right hand frame of the bulletin board and saved the resulting screen in your Favorites list. I think, in fact, that it was you who, at one time, had the frames, clicked on the "Last Day" or "Last Week" link in the left frame then saved the resulting right frame on your Favorites list. There are many ways to trick the Internet into doing only the things a person wants, but the problem is, the person who does that denies themselves of the entire presentation - kinda like reading only the right hand pages of a novel! Not recommended here. |

Norm, That was for news and coming events such as Rallies, etc. and not who we are and where we live. That info should be in your profile. Editor's Note: Not so, Peter. Please find The BNO Community News board from our home page and re-read the bottom 4 messages from me. I don't think I mentioned anything about the news board being restricted to rally announcements - it is for anything newsworthy that doesn't necessarily need to be archived like what's on THE BOARD. A perfect example is the hundred messages to Norm as he recovers. They could all be on The BNO Community News (eventually, I will delete them from the BNO BBS archive, but thought to leave them in the threads because of their current impact to the bus nut family.) Now how to get to another registered member's profile is a mystery to me. Sometimes if I click on their names, I get it and other times I only get a blank email to write to them. Editor's Note: To get to another viewer's profile, that person must have first created a profile by clicking "Edit Profile". You get to it by clicking on their name, underlined in blue. If a viewer doesn't have a profile, they can still post a message and add their email address to their message. That's what you get when you click their name and it pre-populates an email message to them. If you only post a message without filling in any other field (other than your handle) nothing happens when you click their name. Anyone know? Peter. |

Richard, you have to enter the board thru the front page in order to get the 'frames' view. If you're doing like I, and see everything in a single frame you basically can't get there from where you are. It would be nice to have a way to navigate to it from the non-frames view. Editor's Note: Chuck, try this if you only have the right frame showing (by choice): Go to the top of the Topics page and click the link to our home page - it's right under the masthead. when you get to our home page, click The BNO Community News link in the Interactive menu. Two clicks. Peter, this is 'cuz some are officially registered on BNO and others aren't. |

Peter, As I see it, if a member has registered and filled out their profile with email, bus pic, name , etc., and you click on their name you get the profile screen. If a member has not registered and filled out the profile, you get the email screen. Up until a few days ago, I had not registered and my user name was Craig S. Now my user name is CraigS and my profile is available. Craig S |

Ahhh, I thought this might be the case. Then it is about time everyone registers properly and puts their info in the correct place, rather than another section which is designed for news items of rallies and updates on one's conversion, etc. If I@n has a mind to, perhaps he could add a place in the profiles, where the member could state that they are open for visitors by arrangement, or willing to give assistance, etc. Like the FMCA does in its membership book. Peter. |

I@n I signed up when I started using this site, but promptly forgot what I used as a password. How do I find out so I can seem like I "belong" here? Dale |
