I'm looking at awnings for my 4104, but haven't ever seen one mounted to my model bus, so I have the following questions: 1) what would be the best length, and would I have to mount the bottom support for the poles to my bay doors? 2) any recommendations on brand, material, and type? I'm looking at a 20 foot fiesta by carefree with 15 oz vinyl -less than $600.00 shipped. 3) do I need a awning rail, or can I attach it to the drip rail or other area? Thanks always, JT4104 |

I also installed my own awning on my 4104. It is an 18 footer. I attached it to the metal guards around the wheel wells. A sixteen footer is ideal since you can attach the arms lower on he wheel well guards. Since mine was 18' I had to shorten the arms to fit them to the guards. The rail is mounted above the drip rail onthe roof. jim |
