Looking to track down a rebuildable or known good VS2 (preferred -8) transmission for my '55 4512.

Thanks!

Jack, can you email me and we can chat off-list?

I know the input setup for the two is very different, but it isn't the first time I've had to create my own :-) I have a 6-71.

Thanks!

Brandon, there is another one in the Longview area. I don't know of any plans to use it, so it might be available reasonable.

Let me know if you want details.

Brandon -

I know of a GMC V-drive powerpack in Stockton, CA, but am not sure which automatic is bolted to the 6V71. I'm pretty sure it's not a V-730, and the condition is unknown.

Let me know if you'd like me to research this lead further.

FWIW & HTH. . .

:-)

RJ,

If you could research a little further for me, I would greatly appreciate it! Regularly have rigs making the I-5 run. Thanks!
