This metal "sheeting" applies like lexan coated contact paper. Wrap it around PVC pipe and get that chrome plated look. Only problem is: it costs $10 per sq ft.

I dont know if this is an economical alternative for shatter-proof mirrors. I might use some of the brushed copper to dress up mechanical stuff in the bays.

home depo has 2" wide tape ...tough stuff...used it behind my tailghts...VERY reflective...(chrome)about 5.00 a roll...localy available...go look before you order...
