Has anyone replaced the water pump on there 8v71, mine has started leaking and it appears not to be that difficult to replace this. Anyone with input or info would be greatly appreciated. The bus is a 1978 mci. Thanks, Kevin |

pretty straight-forward replacement... 3 bolts hold it on.... theres an o-ring behind it......you may have to "wiggle" it a little to make the gears mesh when you install the new 1.....water lines are just clamped on...replace them too, if they need it.... |

For sure replace the short water lines as the new ones will be more supple, along with the wiggle will come a few #$@%^! words. |
