..Super Coach...(curved).... (driver and passenger). last evening I notice a crack down the center of passenger side after a very hot day and some rain...???. and, of course, a few days before a planned trip to the cool country next week!!!

I've tried most all of the places mentioned in the archives with disappointing results. Most can't furnish. One quoted $1200 per piece...plus packing...plus freight :-(. But one "thinks" they have in stock for about half the above.

Really just begun the search, but thought I might ask if anyone knows of a possible replacement source. Lots of Crown Fire Coaches, School buses and Highway Coaches still out there I imagine. (These are 29.75 inches high---49.5 inches wide).

Thanx in advance :-)

RC there was talk on Crown Coach Junkies about Coach Glass in Eugene, OR having them. I have found them to be a good outfit especially on obsolete glass. Their customer service is great. Would like to know because I have curved glass in my '65 Atomic also.

I met a guy at an FMCA rally in May that says they have glass for about everything. Just maybe they can help and aren't so pricey.

The next time i need to replce the glass in my crown i'm going to replace them with school bus glass and attaching pieces. Flat glass is much easier to obtain.

To put the flat glass in you would have to change the sheet metal around the glass like a crown school bus.

For those interested...and particularly to those who responded, I ordered from Coach Glass in Eugene, Oregon. They have the unit I need in stock...in several locations across the country.

Freight and"packaging" were HIGH...but the glass itself reasonable...as glass goes, I suppose; less than $400. Chelesa did a great job of getting things taken care of; in about 5 total minutes, the "deal" was done on the phone. Her number is 888 *727 *6778 ext.145.

FWIW, RJ Long, in a PM suggested the glass I need might be used on either side, just by flipping it. Coach Glass says they have different part numbers so hard to tell if that would work out. Apparently the ones that will fit either way have only one part number.

Also, for Crown folks. RJ passed on a couple of School District numbers that might be of help. If they are of interest, let me know and I'll pass them on. He also told me about the wisdom legislated by CA government in , apparently "no parts to be saved" scrapping of Older Coaches,,,,really sad...and without much thought, IMHO. :-(
