If a Vanner Box runs off of 24 volts, what's the watt and amp draw? Can the box run off of 12 volt? Thanks, Melody |

Melody, Not enough information here. What kind of Vanner? Battery equalizer? Inverter? Isolator? After that's settled, you'll need to find at least one of the ratings somewhere on the box in order to derive any of the others. -Sean |

It's a DC/AC Inverter. 120 vac/60 hz series 20 high efficiency. Two plug-ins in the front, a remote plug-in in the back. Melody |

some devices that are made to run 24vdc will not run well at 12vdc while others will run fine. Your device should say if it is straight 24vdc or 12 - 24vdc input. Any additional information you can supply will help find an answer. Have you tried to search the web for your model number, perhaps some info might be found there. "Imagine" cd |

Melody, Your 24v inverter will not run on 12v. As for capacity, I believe the series 20 came in 1000 and 2000 watt models, but you should check directly with Vanner (www.vanner.com). Give them a call and they should be able to tell you everything about this unit. -Sean |

Ok, I talked to Vanner. It's model 24-1500 Input is 24 VDC negative ground 120 volt AC output 60 HZ 1500 watt It has the plug in the back. This unit ran the mini galley, VCR, monitors, PA system, etc. The diagram on the side shows settings for 24V & 12V, high battery shutdown, minimum battery start, low battery shutdown, and load demand. Make sense? Electrical and wiring is not my forte. |
