I have not seen the "LED" bulbs work well. I am talking about the "Bulb replacement" for the incandesant bulb where the LED goes into a bulb base and into the bulb socket. I made mine from the round type LED lights that go on the truck trailors, but I put them Behind the original lens to keep the look. It took a lot of cutting though to get the LED to fit. After the fact, they started to make the LED for my bus but are expensive at about $100 ea. I would go with the manufactured LED lights unless you are ambitious and want to do what I did and convert the orginal lights over. Your flasher will work if it is a heavy duty flasher. the H/D flasher uses a resister inside to control the flash rate and does not sample from the light resistance, thatis why you can add trailor lights with no affect. They will not indicate that a bulb is burnt out. the regular flasher uses the bulb resistance to control the flash rate, that is why you can tell if the bulb is burnt out. It would not work with the LED lights. Good Luck "Imagine" cd |
