I'm stripping my 4905 that has been converted. taking down the headliner I'm finding insulation in sealed plastic bags they are cut to fit between ribs very snugly. it is the pink fiber glass type. is this decent insulation? and should I reuse it? I plan to put a coark tape or some type of non conductive material on the ribs to prevent heat transfer.

Like Two Dogs says. Reuse it with the exception of the insulation below the windows. When these buses were in service the companies use high pressure water and chemicals to clean them. The insulation below the windows gets wet and stinks after 30 years of this. Insulation is cheap so get new for this area. Bill
