I am changing out original 555 cummins to 6v92 silver with 747HT 4 spd. Need to change out rear pumpkin to 3.21 or 3.42 It is a 14 bolt Rockwell. Anyone know where I can find this gearset/pumpkin. Bus is in Missouri, I am in Florida. Thanks Pete

You can get the gear set from Pro Gear in Orlando FL or Global Gear in Houston Tx but I think it will be a 3:36

good luck

Replacing a 4 stroke with a 2 stroke usually requires more rpm at cruise.

What will be your target RPM at 50, 60,70mph?

He shouldn't have a problem the 6v92 loves a 3:36 and the triple nickle Cummins was a 2400 to 3300 rpm engine the gutless wonder of the world he probably has a gear in the 4:xx or lower for the 555 to low for a 6V92

good luck

Instead of changing out the rear end, you could exchange the HT740 for a HD4060 or B500 that has a .74 and .64 rear end ratio. Would work well with the 4.xx ratio you have now. Good Luck, TomC
