Your local Truck Supply retailer or TruckStop will have rubber Hood-Latches with retainers for less than $10 , buy a pair & replace the damaged ones, it is a simple as replacing a signal light. NOW.. you posted this previously: 4106 ROT Posted on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 - 5:16 pm: I will have to take a picture to post here. Have you found a solution yet ? The photo I posted for you shows the area adjacent to the A/C Cage... the ribs you see run under the fuel tank, do they resemble yours? |

yes they do, but luke says he has none. the hinges i have are not rubber type and i like the ones that are there but i just need the hoops that go over the latch. we can bend a rod to fit if we had a pattern to go by. |

Mine are missing too I'm sorry to report. As for your "under-tank bracing" all you need is 12 ga. double wall tubing... Slip a round piece into a proper length of 3/4 in.or 1-in. Square tube, weld the ends together, drill & bolt them into place & rust-proof them before you install them. fwiw |

i was thinking just flatten the ends and drill a hole at the proper length, much easier than paying someone to weld them. |

Tom, I think the latch for the battery door and the elect door have the same latch as the AC door. Darrell |
