As always, everyone is welcome to join our NRG group when we gather! Like next weekend we will be once again making our annual labor day weekend trip to Riverside RV Resorts in Arcadia, FL. The NRG's were formed to show that friends that share the same bus/rv camping interest can meet on a given weekend and share fun, food, games and relaxation without all the political nonsense that is found at most rallies or clubs. No meetings ti attend (except for dinner) or voting on issues! NRG stands for Non Rally Gathering, with people with "energy" that do things rather than just sit in a chair and watch the time pass, although your more than welcome to! We have had as many as 15 and as few as 3 on our gatherings but the atmosphere was all the same. Join us if you can! Thursday thru Monday, next weekend! Make your own reservations now. The park fills up quickly! They have a boat ramp since it resides on the river, two pools, a store, a game room, outdoor horse shoe pits and a large pavilion! A corn hole tournament is scheduled as well from what I hear! Ace |

Paul, I will say that yes I would like to think that is why we built these beast, to have fun and enjoy friendship. Can't see just owning one to say I do! I remember our first bus when it was as empty as could be and we used it that way. Most everyone thinks that they need to be finished so they will move. They think they can't be used if they see a little rust here and there. The best thing I can suggest is to just jump in get first and use it, done or not done. Do as most of us do down here and find some traveling partners just in case you need help. Owning a bus is only a very small part of the hobby! Building it to your liking inside and using it makes up the balance! To many people think that just because they own a bus, they are true bus nuts. Let me tell you as you already know. They are in for a rude awakening! Once they actually use it, drive it, and maintain it, they will soon find out, there's a lot more to it than just owning it! Larry, don't know you and don't know the gripe you have with the owner of bcm but do as I do, and I'm sure you saw this past week on a recent thread with me and another poster, just consider the source, move on doing what you want to do, believing what you want and best of all knowing what's best and eventually, the jerks in your life just fade away. Others will soon see who, what and why and become believers themselves! You, and others too, can separate the men or busnuts from the bull ----! |

Looks like were gonna have another good turnout. As I understand it, we have 10 coaches signed up with a possibility of another 2. I hear Saturday is gonna be Taco night. Everyone is bringing something and everyone makes their own the way they like them, not to mention the Coronas and Margaritas! Mix that with corn hole and lookout! Sounds like fun! |

Have fun jack! I know we will. You could always paddle up the river but no rapids there as you know. Maybe next time you will be closer and can join us! Everyone seems to enjoy the NRG theme. More relaxed and laid back! No schedule and doing things on a wim seems to delight the attendees! |

The NRG'S had such a great time over Labor day that didn't seem to last quite long enough, we all have decided to hit the highway again. I think we might be heading to a town near Venice, Fl. in Nekomis at the Royal Coachman RV resort. Should get the final word by tomorrow so if you want to go, hears your heads up! I will post as soon as I know more! The dates are 9/16-9/19 |
