I guess I'm stronger than I thought. I reached over to swing the door closed with the lever on the dash and I broke it. Now I gotta find a new one. It's what holds the door closed while we travel. Anyone got an extra or know where to get one? We're in Cheney, Wa. for another couple of weeks. Then we will head home for the first time since the first of June. Been a great trip, sorry to see it end...Cable

where did it break? Welding steel or aluminum is possible.

It broke where the hand hold bolts to the rotating arm on top of the dash. Blew the end right out of it. GGRRR...Cable

Can't drill it out and use a bumper bolt to re-secure it?

Now here is a poster with what I think might be a new record, 18 posts in ten years. That works out to about 2 per year.
I know Vernon is a relaxed place, but we have to stimulate your posting, because otherwise this board might die for lack of use, and what would Ian do then?

Joe.
