Large sites, many pull through, enough 50 Amp sites. The campground is situated in a Beatuful clean large county park with walking trails, bike trails, fields for ball games or horsing around. A water park. Feels like you are in the country but you are 5 minutes from shopping and 10 minutes from downtown Charleston.

Thanksgiving to Christmas they hav a light show of decorations that people pay $10 a car load to see and it is free to campers and their guests.

Expect to pay $26 to $28 per night with but this park is worth it. Look it up in the Trailer Life CG Guide. Good Sams discount. Reservations are a good idea. They do have overflow parking for dry camping if you arrive before your reservation.

I agree, James Island is Great! You are only 15 minutes from downtown too. Patriots Point is a great tourist site if you like to walk & see Naval Ships. The wife & I had a great time there.
