I bought my bus about 6 weeks ago in Mich. on the way home I had to have 1 service call that cost me $250 then nextday had to buy a valve cover $150
then broke my tranny in half in B.G Kentucky repaired at the tune of after flights back and forth $3000. got it home and had to gut it completely. found flooring damage, Rust, leaks around all the windows. today I just found out both of my roof top air conditioners are shot. but I do have some good news, I just saved a ton of money on my insurance. |

Sounds like the same song, different verse that we've been singing. A heater hose broke, the alternator stopped working, the tank was full of algae, most of the windows leak, but Dave loves a challenge, and the fact that it is a classic bus.
Now we get to do it our way. Luckily we only have minor rot by one wheel well (so far). |

The bus is a 1970 4905 and I'm in Fort Myers Beach Florida until june 1st then I will be headed north for 4 or 5 months. Mich, Ohio, Tenn, Indiana, Ill, Minn, and south Dakota. Mabee a few more |
