does anyone know anything about changing my old [E1] brake valve to a newer model [E3] on my MC5.
I have been told that the E3 valve would give much greater braking?
If this is true where would one get the E3 valve and how would it be hooked up?
Thanks Neil

Neil,

Some of the early valves had reduced pressure provided to the front axle to prevent locking the steer tires. This theory was disproved and newer valves do not reduce front axle pressure. Bendix has several valves in current prodection. Any fleet supply catalog has them listed. Be certain to get a dual system valve that keeps the two axles separate for safety.
