I just heard on the news that good Ole Bill and the EPA in the death throws of its administration have decide to deal a death blow to the trucking and busing industry. They are going to rush thru legislation that over the next decade all diesel fuel will have to be 97 % sulfur free. This is to begin in 2006. The oil industry said they had a plan to reduce it to 90% at a much lower cost but the adminstration won't have it. They figured since they were leaving they had better get it done now because they wouldn't have to take the heat for it. I understand that the Bush administration could change it after they get in but would probably take a lot of hits for it. Isn't it wonderful to know that you always have the government there to take care of you..ROFL Tuck-04 |

I agree with you Tuck. Too much government. Maybe you should run for next election as a US President. Are you coming to the BUSIN 2001 event? Happy Journey! Jerry Sr "Sojourner" |

NO they are not rushing thru legislation, that would be the LEGAL way and the left doesnt recognise any laws. This is more than the 3000 Exectutive orders "KING Bill the COWARD",has done so far, this is 35,000 pages just stuck into the federal register , that becomes LAW , after congress doesnt VETO it. Since congress has GONE , its law . There is a big push on to destroy as many businesses and sections of productive society as can be done , on the DREAM that people will , in the midst of a recession, call the Democrats to bring out THE DEAD HAND of GOVERNMENT , and spend and regulate us all into prosperity {their version} Biggest problem for bus nuts is the engines needed to use this fuel , havent been built yet. Sulphur is, {as lead was in gas, for the exhaust valves} a lubricant for the injectors . IF all we need is a new set of very expensive retro fit injectors , we will get off very lucky. Most likley we will be stuck adding some illegal stuff to the fuel, for the 5 or so years it takes to find the new "complyant" engines in the wrecking yards. And then some will still be looking for the low cost cure , for the backwards problem. FAST FRED |

I am useing a fuel additive now that is made by Lucas oil Aditive Co. It has helped my 8V71. I also use their oil Additive. It adds about 5 cents a gallon to the cost of fuel but I fee like it is worth it. |

Just want to add my nickel's worth: It's bad enough Clinton's administration left the U.S. energy reserve in dire straights. Now he's forcing demands on an already strained industry before the technology and resources are fully developed. Of course, at his level and position, he's pretty well isolated from the effects of his legacy. |
