Please look around your bone yards, Henry Draper is in need of a front torsilactic ( left steering axle)for his model 001 Eagle as his has stripped out the spline and fallen against the rubber stops! It must be a model 001-- the 05 and 10 will not work without major mods. |

How did he strip the spline? David |

David, I hit an unmarked 'whoop-de-doo' going too fast and the resultant bouncing was too much for something--so the body went right down to the frame stop in the left front corner. Don't know the mechanics of the situation, but that's what caused it--violent, sequential, bouncing. Still gave me enough ride height to get from Pasco, WA (where I was watching my daughter compete in the State track championship) back to Edmonds, where I dropped the family off, hooked up the toad, and get down to Roseburg. Do you think it delaminated in the torsalastic cylinder and the rubber actually slid inside the cylinder? Perhaps Norris at Jefferson Truck could give you some help. David Anderson |

The rubber is in fine shape, the metal spline that the adjusting arm mounts to, has no spline left. It had been welded to the adjuster and the weld broke. This resulted in the suspension dropping down on the stop. I think that I found a used bar in MO. David Gregory |

Ok, now I understand what you are describing. I'm glad you found the piece to fix it. Good luck. David |
