I now have 2 basement Colman air-conditioners. Did I buy 1 two many (pun intended)? After I bought them I found out that 1 basement is like having 3 roof airs. Question is, am I over doing it? I plan on putting in roof ducting and reusing some of the duct parts from the MCI-8. We will not have any bus air (previous owner took out the compresser so I took out the rest and that is where I found the curved ducting from the blower assembley that I am reusing. I liked some of the pictures I have seen of how others had ducted clear to the front of the bus so cold air is blowing down upon the front windows and wife will have to have one blowing directly on her (female thing I think) that was what made me think I needed two. Also we will be traveling thru the desert some of the time back and forth to Calif. Thanks for your help folks as always, Randall |

The OTR on my H3 is 11 tons (132k btu's),works well especially with the insulation and double glaze windows on the VIP series , but I wouldn't have any less - you can always turn it off/down but you can never get more when you need it. BTW coach A/C is the split 2.5's for 30 and 50 amp hookups , but 5 tons is enough when your standing still and don't have the friction, heat gain and air exchange when going down the road. Niles |

I have 3 basement units. It hasn't hit the hundreds hear in Texas yet, but the humidity is high. For now I only use the front and rear. The center air is off until needed. I turn them up to 90 when I leave in the morning and it cools down quickly when I get home in the evening. Doug |
