I have a friend here in upstate NY who owns a bus company (tour, local, & school buses). His Dad started the company back in the forties and he would love to find a bus from back then to own. He loved my '04, but it's not for sale. He'd like an older GM anyway. Dallas, I sent you an email about your bus, maybe it got deleted?? Never heard back from you though.

I have been checking online stuff for sale in the search, but have found nothing. Must be you guys bought them all up and have them sitting in your yards. Anyone want to part with a project? He's fully equipped for the work, but he's in for a surprise when he opens the back door...the way back one.

Is he attempting to locate a seated bus to restore for commercial use?

Or an RV to use as a bus camper?

Fred...I forgot to ask him that and emailed that very question to him the day after he was here. He has not responded & I've been up north for a few days.

Dallas...I was inquiring as to the status of your '03 (it is an '03, right??) If you are still thinking of selling it, please email me with info and pics if you would. My email is in my profile

Don...posting has been deleted. Probably just what my bud wanted, eh?

I'll get more info from him and post again. Thanks guys...

Jamo, Yup, it's a PD4103. I think I probably want too much for it for anyone to buy. ($5K), but Cat is after me to finish the kitchen, shower and front room then ask more.

If I do that, I'll keep it and swap in a 6-71T and add an Allison.

Pretty much I've seemed to lose all interest in doing anything with it other than watch it sobbing out in it's pasture from lonliness.

Dallas and Paso...

Please send me pics and info on your buses if you would. 5K is not out of line with your price Dallas, but I would like more info (and pics) to pass along to him. Since he owns a bus company, he has a well equipped shop with the people to do whatever needs to be done. I wonder if any of them have old school bus smarts. Who knows, he'll learn though, eh?

My email is in my profile. No bus too far. Sort of.

Thanks guys...

I forwarded a bunch of pictures for your friend.

You mentioned no bus is too far..... did you mean to far away or too far gone :-)

Here is a picture of the inside for the rest of you.

Mine isn't in that kinda shape.... go with his... he may be easy to work with.
Wife and I talked about it, we need to rent a storage unit to pack everything into and then clean up the mess that's left.

Although the bus is great engine and trans wise, it's as ugly as a bucket full of unwiped arseholes inside and out.... Hey, I'm a mechanic, not a cabinet guy!

Dallas,

He does prefer a GM and I have no idea what his plans are. He may want to gut it and run it as a seated bus for special runs. He likes the smaller windows of the buses before my 4104. Don't count yourself out because you forgot to empty the trash. I would like some pics if you would, even if it is not for sale. He's loving the looking.

Thanks guys...
