I just talked to a mgr. of an I-hop.....I don't know how much truth he was telling...but...he said he had to PAY 400.00 to get 55 gallons of veg. oil hauled away..and that he would be HAPPY to give it away....here is where I get mixed up.there is ALOT of work and ingrediants,before it is runable.. just "information"...for anybody that wants to read... |

Sounds like he might be stretching things a bit. But wait, before you dip into that bin, take a sample of about 5 gallons first and see how it filters out. Easy way is let it sit in the sun for a week and it will settle out without having to filter it. Water, solids, etc. will all seperate to the bottom of the jug, only useable oil will be on top. Anything over an inch or so of trash in 5 gallons would be a little much to mess with (my opinion).
